The Satorialist

For our surprise we saw Scott Schumann (blog: the satorialist) walking around at London Fashion Week, observing people and taking new pictures for his blog.
After leaving a fashion sales position, Scott Schumann began taking pictures of people in New York who had dressed in a way that caught his eye, and then posting them to his blog. He pioneered fashion photography in blog form. Nowadays his blog is one of the most popular fashion blog worldwide.

Harajuku Streetstyle Tokio

Tokyo street fashion is influenced from many styles and subcultures around the world. Harajuku (原宿) in Japan refers to an area around Harajuku train station where on Sundays virtually indescribable dressed teenagers gathered around. It seems like of a invasion of Manga Charakters and Gothic Lolitas.
You simply have to see it to believe it.

London Fashion Week 2011

Seriously, wherever you look around in London you will see stylish people, but during the Fashion Week it seems like an invasion of fashionists. You don’t really know on which person to focus on at first. There is a mixture of styles we are not used to see daily.

Even if the temperature in London might have dropped, a girl shows, autumn doesn't necessary call for a palette of blacks and greys. She has a pretty romantic look in white. We also were attract attention by the red socks of a guy, which blink under the rolled up pants. The checked blazer gives the final touch to be a perfect British look. Did you combine a spotted blouse with flower printed pants before?! Why not? It really looks awesome. And the last pictures is our favorite one.We simply love it!!!

Glamour Fashion Night by Mango

While we were enjoying the Glamour Fashion Night by Mango in Madrid, we found some nice styles for example a blue/yellow combination or a black blazer with white stars. Our favorite one was the little blackdress combined with a tweed jacket. The red lipstick gives her the final touch for a perfect style.

Welcome to Wies'n

King Ludwig I was married to Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen on 12th October 1810. The citizens of Munich were invited to attend the festivities held on the fields in front of the city gates to celebrate the happy royal event. The fields have been named Theresienwiese ("Theresa's fields") in honor of the Crown Princess ever since (abbreviated simply the "Wies'n").
Today, the Oktoberfest is the largest festival in the world, with an international flavor characteristic of the 21th century: some 6 million visitors from all around the world converge on the Oktoberfest each year. Many people turn out to dress in traditional lederhosen and low-cut dirndl dresses. The dirndl consists of a bodice, blouse, full skirt and apron. Our friends sent us some pictures... Did you already choose your dirndl?!
